Allianz Stadium Memorable Moment - Sydney FC v Mariners (2006)

On 5 March 2006, Sydney FC created history by beating Central Coast Mariners 1-0 to win the inaugural A-League grand final before 41,689 fans at Allianz Stadium.  Midfielder Steve Corica scored the winning goal to enable his captain Dwight Yorke to lift the trophy in triumph.
